Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Associate to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing content across multiple media platforms, crafting engaging blogs, monitoring and executing ad campaigns, and producing quality content.
Additionally, the marketer will need to create traditional marketing strategies that complement and enhance digital marketing efforts. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for marketing, strong design skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. The candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and post engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business, X) and manage YouTube updates.
- Produce content weekly, including static posts and videos, and use photography and video software to create and edit visual content.
- Create and publish weekly blogs on the company’s website.
- Manage and optimize ad campaigns on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Assist in planning and executing school events.
- Identify sponsorship opportunities, contribute to organizing events, and develop proposals.
- Create engaging visual content using Canva and the school’s camera for relevant images and videos.
- Generate monthly reports on SEO, social media, and marketing performance. Use tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Zoho Social etc. to monitor and optimize campaigns and inform future marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement traditional marketing strategies such as activations and open days to complement digital marketing efforts.
- Regular market and competitor research to inform future marketing planning and strategy.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support the marketing and promotional efforts of the institution.
About You:
- Highly skilled in managing and optimizing content across social media platforms especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and LinkedIn. They should be adept at producing and scheduling engaging posts, including images and videos.
- A creative individual who excels at producing compelling content and is proficient in using Canva to create visually appealing graphics.
- Knowledge in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is desirable but not essential.
- Have a strong understanding of SEO practices to ensure content is optimized for better search engine visibility and audience engagement.
- Experienced in using advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Hootsuite, Zoho Social (etc.) and Google Ads, with the ability to create, monitor, and adjust ad campaigns effectively.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Capable of developing and implementing traditional marketing strategies to complement digital marketing efforts.
- Excellent communication skills who can collaborate effectively with team members and work independently with minimal supervision. You must be both eloquent and confident in yourself.
- Highly creative and self-motivated, able to generate innovative ideas and take initiative in driving marketing efforts.
- Experience conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform and enhance marketing strategies.
Essential Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in marketing/communication industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field from a well-recognized institution.
- Skilled in managing social media content and producing engaging posts, including images and videos.
- Creative with strong design skills, Canva (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not a necessity).
- Experience in using advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Hootsuite, Zoho Social (etc.) and Google Ads, with the ability to create, monitor, and adjust ad campaigns effectively
- Knowledgeable in SEO and experienced with ad platforms like Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Strong organizational skills
- An understanding of implementing traditional marketing strategies.
- Excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively and work independently.
- Highly creative, self-motivated, and experienced in market research and competitor analysis.
- Experience in an agency is desirable.
- Proficiency in Ms. Office Suites

Stage 2
- Successful candidates will be contacted for a first interview with the marketing team.
