It was a day of engaging conversations, exciting discoveries, and warm interactions as a distinguished delegation from the Institute for Small Business Initiatives (ISBI) and the Institute for Cooperation in Development Projects (ICEP) paid a courtesy visit to our Kilimani Campus.

ISBI is an association dedicated to empowering Advanced Entrepreneurship Program (AEP) graduates to foster lifelong connections, collaboration, and mutual support, to achieve sustainable business growth and contribute to the Kenyan economy. On the other hand, ICEP works and aims to fight global poverty.

The team was welcomed with open arms by Ms. Benny Kittakah, our esteemed director who doubles as ISBI Alumni’s vice president.

“Welcome to Appleton Schools where we provide personalized Montessori education for each student, allowing us to nurture and develop their unique abilities with the support of our qualified staff, resources, and curriculum,” explained Ms. Benny.

Eager to experience the Appleton magic firsthand, the delegation embarked on a guided tour of our vibrant Kilimani Campus where they did not observe but immersed themselves.

The director led the delegation on a guided tour of the Kilimani Campus, giving them an up-close look at the vibrant learning environment. The visitors got involved in a heartwarming classroom visit, where the officials could interact with our enthusiastic learners. The students, brimming with curiosity and excitement, welcomed the visitors with joyful smiles, engaging in lively discussions and showcasing their learning experiences.

There were insightful one-on-one conversations between the visitors and the school staff, where they unraveled Appleton’s unique Montessori learning approach, rich history, and remarkable progress. The teachers painted a vivid picture of an institution where academic brilliance meets hands-on experiences, shaping well-rounded, future-ready learners.

Throughout the tour, the visitors were particularly impressed by the dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere, which fosters creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking among students.

As the visit came to a close, the visiting team expressed their admiration for Appleton School’s dedication to excellence in education. Their words of appreciation reaffirmed our mission to continue shaping young minds and preparing them for a bright future.

“The passion and innovation here are truly inspiring. Appleton is not just a school; it’s a movement shaping the future of education!” Commented Thomas Plötzeneder, ICEP.

With handshakes, laughter, and a shared vision for transformative education, the visit ended on a high note leaving behind new connections, valuable insights, and an even stronger commitment to learning beyond boundaries.
